Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to the 94th edition of our newsletter! Today we have some updates on various projects since the teams workshop trip ended a few weeks ago! Kas and Josh took a short break and have back in the swing of things this week, so let's get into it!

Lalla Tools, Troughton Penlights, and Troughton Whistles

Josh has been working on preparing a new batch of Lalla Tools, Troughton Penlight end caps, and Troughton Whistles as we have had a few orders of each recently! Josh will be making up some spares to have in stock and ready to ship upon order for some future orders!

Crystal McGann Tools

As Josh Martin continues with gold leafing the main parts, Kas has wood stained all of the Collectors Edition boxes to prepare for packing and shipping! These now just need some light buffing around the text and design. We are still aiming to have these shipped out late March - early April!

The Wayfinder

Josh is now working on installing the activation buttons onto the Wayfinders, which is the final stage before they will all be shipped out! Included in the box will be 2 swappable button types, our initial design flush buttons, and the accurate (seen in the Boxset trailer) buttons! Our 3D printed test buttons can be seen in the pictures below!

Grey Aztecs and Series 4 Grey Tools

Josh recently finished painting both the Grey Aztecs and S4 Grey Tool domes in their iconic blue colour, alongside hand painting the S4 Grey Tool blue strips, just like the originals! These have also been clear coated and are ready for installation once the electronics are complete in both runs. Josh has also painted up the Grey Aztec speaker end caps, ready to install on the orders with sound!

Kas has installed the silver pommel sections and collars onto the bodies, along with threading the holes in collar sections. Kas will now be assembling the emitter sections so they can be sent to Dan, and then Kas and Dan will be working on the Grey Aztec and S4 Grey Tool electronics in parallel! We look forward to having both runs complete next month!

Kas has also been working on the foam packaging for both runs, having almost completed the main Tool holders and Stand holder pieces. Once that is complete, the 3mm top sections with engraved text and 3mm separating pieces will be cut next!

MK2 Davison Tools

As we stated in our previous newsletter, all MK2 Davison Tool parts are now in production with our manufacturers! We have recently received 2 sample sets of parts and they are looking absolutely fanstastic! We have given the go-ahead for our manufacturers to produce the rest of the run. The full run's parts should be arriving with us late next month!
