Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to the 98th Edition of our newsletter! Today we have updates on our Grey Aztecs, Grandad Tool and MK1 Manipulators. So let's get into it!

As many of you have seen, last newsletter we posted a full schedule and our latest updates on all of our projects on our roster. So if you haven't seen that, go check it out here!

We will also be posting an updated schedule on the bottom of each newsletter, with sections highlighted based on what has been shipped every 2 weeks, so everyone can be updated on our progress on our remaining projects!

Grey Aztecs

This week, Kas has been focused on posting out the Grey Aztecs. All the Series 1-2 variants have been posted, and a small batch of Series 3's have also been posted. The remaining S3's will be posted out this weekend, and the weathered S3's being posted out on Monday. This is barring any that have had the metal weathering service opted for them, as Kas will be driving down to Josh's workshop next week to hand deliver them and allow Josh to do his magic! The weathered metal orders will then be posted in 1-2 weeks from now! Thank you to everyone for your patience with us as we have finally been getting these out to the world! It has been lovely seeing all your posts in the Sonic Screwdrivers | The Gallery discord, and on Instagram too!

Grandad Tools

Now that most of the Grey Aztecs has been posted out, Kas has now got all of the Grandad Tools parts laid out and ready to start fitting with electronics and painting the black detailing in! Kas is aiming to have these finished for the end of April!

MK1 Manipulators

As stated in our last newsletter, Kas now also has time to complete the last few stages of the MK1 Manipulator work. That being to add the felt on the bottoms, attach the buckles, and attach the top cover rivets. Kas is also aiming to have these finished for the end of April!

Schedule

Here is our updated schedule for our current orders. Highlighted in green is what has been finished and posted, and highlighted in yellow is what is next to be shipped!

Soon to be shipped:

Grey Aztecs: 100 - shipped/shipping this weekend

Original MK1 Manipulators: 20 - shipping this month

Grandad Tools: 18 - shipping this month

S4 Grey Tools: 60 (thus far) - electronics currently being fitted by Dan - shipping early May

In progress:

Shrunken boxes: 12 - in progress by Josh, electronics by Kas once assembly and paintwork is complete - shipping in May

1/6th Scale NSDs: 18 - in progress by Kas with casting of main parts and then paintwork will be completed by Josh, electronics by Kas

Crystal McGann Tools: 20 - currently being gold foiled and then assembly will be completed by Josh, and electronics will be completed by Dan - shipping in June

Scheduled:

Davison MK2 Tools: 40 - parts in production

McGann Tools: 15 - parts in production

Classic Tools Restock: 21 - parts ready to go

Small Orders:

Cases, Stands and Lalla tools are all shipped within 1-2 weeks upon order, and are handled by Josh
