Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to the 104th Edition of our newsletter! Today we'll be updating you on Troughton Penlights, McGann Tools, Crystal McGann Tools, Classic Tools and more! So, let's get into it!

Troughton Penlights

I have completed the electronics on all the outstanding Penlight orders and have sent them to Kas where he is currently laser cutting the stands and foam for the Collector’s Edition orders. He plans on having them shipped out next week!

McGann Tools

Kas has begun hand machining the parts for the McGann run, he expects to have the entire batch machined within 2 weeks’ time. He has also completed the foam packaging.

Josh Howe will be painting the stands and applying the tin vinyl while Kas finishes machining the parts and installing the electronics. We apologise for the long wait for these, we've had several delays in having the parts made by our normal manufacturer which has led us to machining the parts inhouse.

Crystal McGann Tools

Kas and Josh have both been working away on the Crystal McGann’s!

Kas has made progress on the wooden handle slats and has finished laser cutting them all. He will now be hand sanding the scorch marks off and countersinking the screw holes. Once he has completed this, the handles will be stained the correct Rosewood colour and sent to Josh to attach the finished handles. Kas has also moulded and cast up the resin emitter crystals which are ready to be sent to Josh at the same time as the wooden slats. He has also prepared 10x sets of parts for an upcoming restock of Crystal McGann’s!

At the same time, Josh has sanded, primed and painted all the resin parts as well as the additional 10x parts Kas sent in preparation for the future restock and is now in the process of adding the gold foiling while also finalising the Collector’s Edition stands.

Classic & Lalla Tools

Josh has completed work on most of the recent Lalla Tool orders and is waiting for foam to arrive from Kas before he can ship the Collector’s Edition orders. Josh has also begun working on the Classic Tool orders and is aiming to ship them in batches, with the expectation to have the first batch shipped soon once he has also received the foam and tins for the Collector’s Edition orders.

Toggle & Rotary Sladen Lipsticks

New Release! We have also just released our long-awaited Toggle and Rotary Sladen Lipsticks! A limited stock remains so if you are interested, get them while they last! Parts are already in preparation, Kas has disassembled the lipstick cases ready to be shipped to me, where I will be fitting the electronics and handling final assembly.

Remaining Stock

We only have a limited number of Davison Mk2s left for pre-order, and just 1 MK1 Manipulator left which is ready to ship! We also only have 1 Series 4 Grey Tool left in stock as well, which is also complete and ready to ship! And finally, we also have a permanent sale on the Wayfinders, now £50 off!

And that's all for today! Apologies for the late newsletter, progress has been a bit slower, but we are still here and dedicated to fulfilling our orders!

Some may be disappointed with the lack of updates on specific runs such as the Davison Mk2s, please rest assured updates will follow, we are wanting to clear as many outstanding orders as possible before we focus on the Davison Mk2s. However, it won’t be long before work on them can properly begin, the parts have all arrived and will be sent out to Josh very soon for him to work his paint magic on!

Other things such as the 6th Scale Box Instructions are also in the works, Kas will be assembling his personal box soon and will be taking detailed photos of the build for customers to follow.
